[Stakeholders Presentation - The Psychology of Influence ]

“My best advice is to not start in PowerPoint. Presentation tools force you to think through information linearly, and you really need to start by thinking of the whole instead of the individual lines.” - Nancy Duarte

There is such a saying: “Do you know who are the people to sue Powerpoint?”. The answer to this question is “those people who don’t have the power and those who don’t have …. (you can fill out the blank)”. Although it is a funny line, it is telling the truth that Powerpoint has become one of the most popular presentation tools at the workplace. Having said that, people often fail to leverage the Powerpoint presentation to neither connect with nor influence their audience in order to create an impact.

Matchy Ma, our Principal Consultant and a certified whatzyourpoint trainer, delivered a “whatzyourpoint” presentation design program to a diverse group of professionals and managers from a multi-national retail company. After the program, participants were able to equip themselves with the right mindsets and essential skills in creating and delivering an audience-centered and impactful Powerpoint presentation, making their business presentation more powerful than ever.
