“People expect to be bored by eLearning — let’s show them it doesn’t have to be like that!" — Cammy Bean
Online learning has become very popular in times of Covid-19. With a distinctive rise of demand for virtual training and a sudden shift away from the classroom training, how can the training practitioners bolster their capabilities to provide impactful and enjoyable virtual training programs. Undoubtedly, developing and delivering effective online training requires new skills and competencies of trainers.
Last week, we proudly delivered our Corporate Train-The-Virtual-Trainer Certification Program to a group of in-house trainers of a public utility company. The program covered the knowledge of virtual program design, techniques for greater audience engagement, and the skills of using online tools to create fun-filled, yet meaningful interactions among virtual trainers and participants. With an engaging virtual learning atmosphere, our team of professional facilitators acted as good models to demonstrate the essential qualities of successful virtual trainers.
At the end of this virtual program, participants learned new techniques and skills in virtual training and committed actions to become competent virtual trainers, who will be able to create a bigger and positive impact on employee development and performance that leads to organizational success.
