“The Journey of Evolution” Development Intervention

 

Japanese Chain Restaurant division of Maxim's Group has experienced aggressive growth in past few years and required new leadership skillset / mindset to manage the dynamics. To strengthen the leadership capabilities and building a high engaged team, the senior management saw the needs to support the leaders, including the Operation Managers and District Managers, to make strategic shifts in the following areas:

  • Foster Teamwork & Open Communication

 

Talent Academy worked closely with the HR & Learning team to design an innovative and practical intervention “The Journey of Evolution” for the targeted leaders. The intervention was a 12-month development intervention which included psychometric assessment, 180 degree feedback, 1 on 1 coaching as well as the action learning projects.

 

Business & People Results

 

  • The sponsors and stakeholders were satisfied with the intervention as the skills developed are highly transferrable via the Action Learning Projects. The positive feedback were shown in their internal business and people metrics, as well as supervisors’ daily observation

 

  • Over 90% of the participants are either satisfied or very satisfied with the coaching intervention and the coaches.

 

  • Around 75% of them have an even more positive perception of coaching after the intervention and they expressed their willingness to join the coaching intervention again in the future.
